Associate Professor @ Melbourne Business School
Sven Feldmann is Associate Professor of Economics at Melbourne Business School. He received his PhD in Economics and Government from Harvard University and has taught at the University of Chicago, Kellogg School of Management, and INSEAD.
Sven’s research in game theory, microeconomics and political economics analyses strategic behaviour in markets as well as in society more broadly. His research focuses on questions of how different rules change the way information is shared between different parties such as managers, policy makers, citizens and contestants in court, highlighting that getting the incentives right for sharing information is fundamental to improve the flow and effective use of information, both in private and public settings. Expanding on his interest in ethics and corporate responsibility, Sven has developed and taught the data ethics subject in Melbourne Business School’s Master in Business Analytics over the last three years.
